Patrick Schittekat has a diverse work experience in various roles in the field of engineering and research. Patrick currently works as a Principal Engineer at Ascenium Inc, where they develop the compiler for the Ascenium Aptos processor. Before that, they worked as a Senior Research Scientist at SINTEF, leading the Aviation team within the Optimization Group. Patrick Schittekat completed their education at the University of Antwerp. From 1999 to 2004, they pursued a degree in Commercial Engineering, specializing in ICT. Following this, they went on to pursue a PhD in Applied Economics, Optimization, and Supply Chain Management from 2006 to 2010 at the same university.
