Vegard Strand Lende has a range of work experiences spanning multiple roles and industries. Vegard Strand started their career in 2007 as a Salesman at M.C. Lea AS, a leisure shop specializing in caravans, mobile homes, and boats. From 2012 to 2013, Vegard worked as a Tutor at The Norwegian School of Information Technology. In 2013, they joined Fusetools as a Software Engineer and later became a Software Architect, focusing on the architecture and API design of their Apps-as-a-Service offering. Vegard also worked on the Tools and Engine teams, leading the latter in the tail end of their tenure. During their time at Fusetools, they played a key role in shipping several products, including Realtime Studio, Fuse Studio, and fuselibs. In 2019, Vegard took on the role of a System Developer at Data Design System, where they worked on low-level systems and proposed a new architecture for their 3D rendering engine. Vegard Strand also worked as a Software Engineer at Lende Softworks, consulting at Høglund Marine Automation AS, and focusing on developing their next-generation human-machine interface toolsuite. Currently, Vegard is working at Ascenium Inc as a Senior Engineer and has now taken on the role of Principal Engineer.

Vegard Strand Lende pursued their education in a chronological order. From 2008 to 2011, they attended St. Olav High School and completed the International Baccalaureate - Diploma programme with a focus on Natural Sciences. In 2011, Vegard enrolled in The Norwegian School of Information Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Computer Software Engineering, which they completed in 2014. In 2020, Vegard briefly studied Mathematics at the University of Stavanger, although no specific degree was mentioned.
