Swati Gupta

Swati Gupta has extensive experience in software engineering and management roles. Swati is currently the Vice President of Software Engineering at Ascensus, where they lead the software development group for the Retirement Division, overseeing over 30 scrum teams. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Software Engineering at Ascensus from January 2021 to October 2022. Before joining Ascensus, Swati was the Head of Development at Private Client Resources, where they played a key role in streamlining data management for wealth management firms. Swati also served as the Director of Software Development at BBT Capital Management Advisors LLC, leading the development of trading applications and pricing models for the Hedge Fund. Swati's earlier experience includes roles as a Director of Consulting at Imperium and a Senior Consultant at CB Technologies.

Swati Gupta holds a Master of Information Technology degree in Data Science & Business Analytics from Virginia Tech, which they completed in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management in 1997 and a Bachelor's degree from St. Ann's College for Women in India in 1995. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained various certifications including Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (ACSPO) from Scrum Alliance, a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics & Data Mining from Virginia Tech, and Microsoft Certified Application Developer from Microsoft.
