Jeffrey Slater

Jeffrey Slater's work experience includes their current role as an Engineering & Maintenance Manager at Ascensus Specialties, where they lead the engineering team and supervises maintenance operations. Jeffrey ensures consistent daily operations, executes the capital plan, and administers the Process Safety Management program. Jeffrey also supports other departments with management of change, incident investigation, and statistical process optimization.

Prior to their current role, Jeffrey worked at LORD Corporation, A Part of Parker Hannifin, where they held various positions. Jeffrey was the Manager of Engineering Innovation & Operations Excellence from April 2021 to February 2023. Before that, they were the Manager of Engineering & Facilities from June 2020 to April 2021, and the Manager of Maintenance & Engineering from February 2018 to June 2020. Jeffrey also served as the Area Supervisor for Dispersions from October 2015 to February 2018, the Shift Supervisor from May 2014 to October 2015, and the Senior Quality Technician for Dynamic Testing from May 2013 to May 2014. Jeffrey started their career at LORD Corporation as a Senior Chemical Technician from May 2012 to May 2013.

Jeffrey also has experience working as a Lab Technician at Modern Industries Inc. from February 2012 to May 2012, where they performed testing of treated metals and calibrated testing equipment. Prior to that, they worked as a Lab Assistant at Gannon University from May 2009 to April 2012.

Jeffrey Slater pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry at Gannon University from 2008 to 2012. Following this, they enrolled in Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis and completed a Master of Science degree in Facilities Planning and Management from 2019 to 2021.
