Robert Wasmund is the Founder and CEO of Ascent Developer Solutions, leading innovative financing solutions for real estate developers. With over 30 years of expertise in the real estate sector, Robert has held key positions as a real estate lender, investor, and developer, demonstrating a strong ability to create customized financing solutions. Previously, as CEO of Genesis Capital from 2012 to 2023, Robert implemented impactful growth strategies, significantly increasing annual originations from $100 million to $2.5 billion and originating over $9 billion in loan volume during his tenure. Robert's career also includes pivotal experiences at Anchor Loans, where they successfully managed the acquisition and repositioning of numerous assets during challenging market conditions. Currently, Robert is pursuing education at the University of North Florida.
