Alan Keys

Alan Keys is a highly experienced aviation professional currently serving as a Military Contract Pilot at Ascent Flight Training since July 2020, overseeing recurrent asymmetric training for line pilots and ensuring the safe operation of the KA 350ER during maritime and ISTAR training for the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force. Prior to this role, Alan spent nearly five years at Flybe, where responsibilities included serving as a Line Training Captain and Q400 Captain, focusing on pilot training and safe operations across UK and European commercial flights. Alan's extensive background in the Royal Air Force, spanning from October 1997 to October 2015, includes roles as a Multi-Engine Qualified Flying Instructor, Brigade Air Liaison Officer, and C130J and C130K Captain, demonstrating strong leadership, communication, and operational efficiency in high-tempo environments.
