Chris Benton

Chris Benton joined Ascent in 2017 as the Director of Finance and Investor Relations. Chris has more than 15 years of corporate finance experience including capital markets, investor relations, budgeting and strategic planning. Prior to joining Ascent, Chris served as the CFO of a private equity backed company and VP of Finance at Magnum Hunter Resources. He also worked in the Energy Group for RBC Capital Markets and Bank of Scotland. Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin.
