David Carlson

David Carlson joined Ascent in 2015 from American Energy Partners where he served as Associate General Counsel – Oil & Gas. With more than 25 years of experience in various legal and land roles, Mr. Carlson previously worked at Chaparral Energy, LLC, Crowe & Dunlevy, and Mewbourne Oil Company. Mr. Carlson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Oklahoma, followed by a Juris Doctorate with Honors from the University of Oklahoma’s School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Oklahoma.
