Kade Smith

Kade Smith has over 17 years of experience in land operations within the energy sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Land Operations at Ascent Resources since July 2015, Kade has held various progressive roles in the company including Director and Land Manager. Prior to Ascent Resources, Kade worked at American Energy Partners, LP as a Land Coordinator and Sr. Landman from February 2014 to July 2015, and at Chesapeake Energy from May 2006 to February 2014, where positions included Supervisor of Land in the Mid-Continent North and Senior Landman. Kade began his career as a Financial Research Assistant at Texas Tech University, where a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, Economics, and Energy Commerce was earned from the Rawls College of Business.
