Michelle Bender

Michelle Bender is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in operations accounting and financial reporting. Currently serving as Controller for Operations Accounting at Ascent Resources since October 2015, responsibilities include managing activities related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, joint interest billing, and various aspects of merger and acquisition functions, while also assisting in corporate accounting and financial reporting. Prior to this role, Michelle worked as an Accounting Consultant from October 2013 to October 2015 and held multiple positions at Chesapeake Energy between July 2003 and October 2013, including Land Audit Supervisor and Accounting Senior Supervisor for A/R and A/P. Michelle earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Hardin-Simmons University, completing studies from 1991 to 1995.
