Zack Schaffer is an accomplished environmental engineer with extensive experience in air quality and compliance management. Currently serving as Director of Air Programs at Ascent Resources since January 2019, Zack has progressed through roles including Air Program Engineer and Senior EHS Specialist - Air Quality. Prior experience at Chesapeake Energy from 2010 to 2018 involved various key positions, notably as Sr. Staff Environmental Engineer, where Zack optimized air compliance across business units, developed a compliance program for EPA's NSPS Subpart OOOOa, and supervised compliance activities for infrastructure. Additionally, Zack coordinated greenhouse gas reporting and supported environmental initiatives at ICF from 2004 to 2010.
