Jason Floyd

Jason Floyd is the Sr. Managing Director, CTO Cybersecurity at Ascent Solutions. Jason was previously the Communications Division Head at MAWTS-1 from June 2014 to May 2017 where they trained marine officers in tactical cyber warfare and developed cyberspace monitoring and reporting tactics for the marine corps. Jason was also the Adjutant at Marine Wing Communications Squadron 38 from July 2011 to July 2014 where they were responsible for ensuring more than 700 marine’s administrative, pay, legal, and awards were properly processed and timely.

Jason Floyd went to the Command and Staff College at Marine Corps University, then got their Master's of Science in Security Technologies from the University of Minnesota. Jason was a Weapons and Tactics Instructor for Command & Control (C3, C4I) Systems and Operations at the Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course, and then went to Expeditionary Warfare School at Marine Corps University. Jason has a BS in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from Maranatha Baptist University. Jason is certified from (ISC)² as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and from Amazon Web Services as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.
