Jilaine Bauer

Jilaine Bauer has a long and varied work experience. Jilaine began their career in 1996 as the General Counsel at Stein Roe and Farnham, Inc. In 1998, they moved to Heartland Advisors, Inc. where they held the role of General Counsel and Compliance Officer. In 2002, Jilaine returned to their own consulting business, Bauer Consulting, as a Regulatory and Compliance Consultant. In 2012, they joined the Advisory Board of BrightStar Care of Madison. In 2014, they began working at Refinitiv, an LSEG business (formerly Thomson Reuters - Financial & Risk -Wealth) as a Compliance Officer - Regulatory Change Management. That same year, they also joined the Board and Audit Committee Member (Inaugural Elected Board) at Common Ground Healthcare Cooperative. In 2018, Jilaine returned to Bauer Consulting as a Regulatory and Compliance Consultant, and in 2021, they joined Ascent as a Regulatory Advisor Lead and Senior Compliance Consultant.

Jilaine Bauer holds a JD from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in Law and a BS in Industrial Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Jilaine also has certifications from FINRA, including the Series 24, 7 and 63.
