Michael Low

Director Of Communications at ASCM

Michael Low has a diverse work experience in various roles within the U.S. Air Force. Michael started in 2004 as an Assistant Operations Officer and later served as an Aircraft Maintenance Unit Officer-in-Charge and Assistant Chief of Flight Safety. In 2012, they became the Fixed Wing Section Chief and then moved on to become the Operations Officer of the 1st Special Operations Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. In 2014, they joined the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology as a Course Director and Academic Instructor. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Director of Communications at the Association for Supply Chain Management in 2022.

Michael Low has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology-Graduate School of Engineering & Management, obtained from 2010 to 2012. Michael also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, earned from 2006 to 2008. Furthermore, they have a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University - Hawaii, obtained from 2001 to 2004. In terms of additional certifications, they are a Certified in Transportation and Logistics (CTL) by the Association for Supply Chain Management, obtained in 2012. Michael is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified by Villanova University in 2017, and they have also completed the Theory of Constraints JONAH Program in Project Management at the Avraham Goldratt Institute in 2021. Additionally, they hold certifications in Teaching Online (QM Quality Matters) and Academic Instruction (U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology). Michael has also received the Flight Safety Officer certification from the United States Air Force in 2008.
