Michael Mowat

Michael Mowat serves as the Supply Chain & Operations Practice Leader at IBM since June 2021, where previous roles include Supply Chain Practice Leader and Supply Chain Director within the consulting sector. In addition, Michael is a member of the Innovation and Sensing Committee at the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) since January 2022, contributing to the development of the annual ASCM Top 10 Trends in Supply Chain as a member of the Sensing Committee. Prior to IBM, Michael held the position of Director at PwC from November 2011 to June 2021 and worked as a Business Consultant at KPMG between January 2008 and October 2011. Michael's early career included various end-to-end supply chain and commercial roles at McCormick from June 2001 to January 2008. Michael holds an M.B.A. from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School and an MSc with Distinction in Operations Management from Glasgow Caledonian University, along with education from the MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics.
