Michael Corcoran

Michael Corcoran is a seasoned professional in risk management and safety, currently serving as the Director of Risk Management for Workers' Compensation at Ascot Group since February 2022. Previously, Corcoran held the position of AVP Safety and Health at Zenith Insurance Company from January 2013 to January 2022, and worked at Zurich Insurance Group from 2002 to January 2013 as a Risk Engineering Portfolio Executive, where expert technical risk analyses and consultative risk engineering services were delivered to complex national and global customers. Corcoran’s career also includes roles such as Director of Loss Prevention at U.S. Specialty Insurance Company and Regional Risk Control Manager at various insurance companies, alongside foundational experience as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Corcoran holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety & Health from Illinois State University.
