Joe Prosho is an experienced sustainability professional currently serving as the Head of Sustainable Sourcing & Agriculture at Asda since December 2022. In this role, Joe is responsible for leading environmental sustainability efforts, including the development of a group net zero transition plan and establishing sustainability-linked financing structures. Prior to joining Asda, Joe worked at Morrisons from April 2012 to December 2022, where responsibilities included managing sustainable sourcing strategies, human rights in seafood supply chains, and coordinating biodiversity and natural capital initiatives. Joe began a career in sustainability and environmental consultancy as an Account Manager at Sphera and holds an MSc in Environmental Consultancy from the University of Newcastle and a BSc in Geography from Northumbria University.
