Jonathan Pemberthy

Jonathan Pemberthy is currently the Senior Director of Strategy and Transformation at Asda, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this role, Jonathan spent over 13 years at Newton Europe, ascending through various titles including Director, Business Manager, Principal Consultant, Lead Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Consultant, while being part of the private sector leadership team focused on turnaround and transformation programs. Early in the career, Jonathan completed an internship as an Analyst at ING, where specialization was in merger and acquisition analysis of FTSE 100 companies. Jonathan holds a first-class honors degree (MEng) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
