Joseph Pointon

Joseph Pointon is an accomplished cyber security professional with extensive experience in identifying and mitigating cyber security risks. Joseph held roles as a Cyber Security Analyst and Cyber Security Consultant at BT from July 2017 to May 2020, followed by a Senior Security Analyst position at Avient Corporation from November 2022 to July 2024, where responsibilities included assessing IT systems and enhancing monitoring capabilities. Currently, Joseph serves as a Cyber Security Architect at Asda since July 2024. Educational credentials include a Foundation degree in Communications Systems, Security & Computing from De Montfort University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Cyber Security Technical Professional, achieving First Class honors, also from De Montfort University. Additional studies include a Bachelor's Degree in Music for Media from Futureworks and a Bachelor's Degree from Leeds College of Music with a 2:1 classification.
