Marcus Shaw

Marcus Shaw is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the retail sector, currently serving as Director of Technology at Asda since February 2015. In this role, Marcus is responsible for the strategy and execution of technology initiatives, including the separation from Walmart and overseeing technology aspects of M&A activities. Prior to Asda, Marcus held key positions at Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc, where responsibilities included IT architecture and design during significant organizational changes, and managed application support and development. Marcus began a career at Accenture, contributing to major retail transformation programmes and gaining specialist knowledge in Oracle Retail. Educational background includes a degree in Physics and Mathematics from Loughborough University.
