Matt Morris

Matt Morris is an experienced retail professional currently serving as the General Store Manager at Asda Gosforth since March 2015, with previous roles including General Store Manager at Asda Byker and Asda Wisbech, where the store achieved an annual sales turnover of approximately £36 million. Prior experience includes positions as Store Manager at Asda Felling, Project Coordinator to Vice President Retail South, and eCommerce Trading Manager, overseeing Grocery Home Shopping and a team of over 60 colleagues. Matt began the career at Asda as an Ambient Section Leader and Shop Assistant, following education at Middlesex University where a Bachelor of Arts in Retail Management was obtained from 2016 to 2019, and prior schooling at English Martyrs School from 2007 to 2011.
