Cem Altun, Ph.D., currently serves as the Structural/Thermal Analysis & Test Team Leader and Structural Analysis & Test Division Lead at Aselsan since October 2023. Prior to this role, Cem held several positions at FİGES A.Ş., including Computational Solid & Fluid Mechanics Unit Manager and R&D Manager from July 2012 to October 2023. Responsibilities encompassed planning, managing, and executing R&D projects while ensuring interdepartmental coordination, monitoring project performance, and maintaining quality standards. Cem's extensive experience also includes managing structural analysis projects with a focus on advanced simulations and troubleshooting for key defense industry clients. Academically, Cem earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University, following a Master's Degree and Bachelor's degree in the same field. Notable international experience includes a brief educational stint at the Technical University of Denmark.
