Derya Öncel

Derya ÖNCEL, MBA, serves as a Senior Procurement Leader at Aselsan since April 2017, where responsibilities include generating compliant purchase orders and managing a portfolio worth $75 million annually, achieving significant cost reductions through effective negotiations with over 500 suppliers. Prior to this role, Derya worked at Yapı Kredi as a Portfolio Manager in Commercial Banking, overseeing a $50 million portfolio and engaging with over 100 business customers to identify sales opportunities. Earlier experience includes positions at Burgan Bank as an Assistant Portfolio Manager and an internship at the Ministry of the Interior of the Turkish Republic. Derya holds an MBA from Hacettepe University, alongside bachelor's degrees in Social Sciences from the University of Bremen and in Political Science and Public Administration from Hacettepe University.
