Andy McDaniel

Andy McDaniel has extensive work experience in engineering roles. Starting in 1996, they worked as a Microcomputer Specialist at PC NET, INC until 1999. Andy then became an Industrial Engineering Intern at REGEN TECHNOLOGIES, LLC from 1999 to 2000. In 2001, Andy briefly worked as an Operator/Laborer at Gillespie Excavating. From 2002 to 2003, they served as a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op at Hunter Engineering. Andy then joined Honda R&D Americas, Inc. in 2004 as an Engineer III and worked there until 2010. Andy then moved on to Purolator-Facet, Inc as an Engineer IV from 2010 to 2013. Since 2013, Andy has been working at Asensus Surgical, starting as an R&D Product Engineer and progressing through various roles, including Sr. Product Development Engineer, Manager of Sustaining Engineering, Manager of Product Engineering, Global Platform Leader of Senhance, and currently, as the Principal Engineer of R&D Strategic Operations.

Andy McDaniel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from Drury University, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. Andy then pursued a Bachelor of Science/Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis from 2001 to 2004.
