David Gans serves as a Member at Large on the Board of Directors for the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) since November 2019, contributing expertise in governance and patient safety. Previously, David held the position of Retired Senior Fellow for Industry Affairs at MGMA-ACMPE from July 2012 to January 2023, establishing a reputation as a national authority on medical practice operations and health systems. Additionally, David was the Vice President of Innovation and Research at the Medical Group Management Association from June 2007 to August 2012, overseeing research and development initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Science in Health Administration from the University of Colorado Denver, a Master of Science in Education from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Notre Dame, along with additional studies at the Mendoza College of Business.
