Matthew Street

Matthew Street has extensive experience in leadership and management roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Branch Manager at Waitrose & Partners since June 2000, Matthew has also been active with Crowborough Foodbank as a Trustee since September 2014, previously chairing the organization from 2020 to 2021. Matthew's past involvement includes serving as a Parent Governor at Sir Henry Fermor School and holding multiple positions at Beacon Academy, including Chair of the Local Governing Body. Additional roles include Partnership Councillor at John Lewis, a Trustee on the John Lewis Trust Board, and an elected Town Councillor and Mayor of Crowborough. Matthew began a career in retail management at Marks and Spencer, and holds a BA (HONS) in History and Politics from the University of Warwick.
