Asher, Gittler & D’Alba, Ltd. is a labor and employment law firm that has dedicated its existence to the fight for respect, fairness and integrity in the workplace since its inception in 1951. Based in downtown Chicago, the firm is fiercely committed to representing the interests of labor unions and working people in all industries, settings and professions. The firm also has a robust benefits administrative practice, which provides counsel on behalf of the union contingents of many jointly-administered benefit trust funds. Our firm practices in all aspects of labor, employment, and employee benefits law. We are proud that, over the years, we have developed a national reputation for our outstanding work in these areas.

Our attorneys are focused on helping people in real and meaningful ways. We listen carefully and with understanding, and we ensure that the clients we serve fully understand their rights. We advise them of their options and execute their decisions in a manner that best serves their interests. We do this while recognizing the needs, realities and limitations that are unique to each client. Our firm’s attorneys understand that there is rarely, if ever, a “one-size-fits-all” solution to any given problem. In each instance, we work hard to find cost-effective solutions for our clients; solutions that are designed to achieve the level of respect, fairness and integrity that all working individuals are entitled to receive in the workplace.
