Michael Murphy is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the hospitality and finance sectors. Currently serving as Director of the Board at Ashford Inc. since May 2018 and as Chairman of the Board at American Hotel Income Properties REIT since March 2015, Michael has held significant leadership positions including Head of Lodging and Leisure Capital Markets at First Fidelity Mortgage Corporation until November 2023 and Executive Vice President at ResortQuest International, where Michael oversaw mergers and acquisitions during the company's IPO until its sale to Gaylord Entertainment.
