Daniel Alvarez

Daniel Alvarez is an experienced plant manager with a robust background in manufacturing and operations management. Since May 2019, Daniel has served as the Plant Manager for Ashland, overseeing two Aloe production units in Jaumave, Tamaulipas, managing a workforce of 325 employees while handling responsibilities in manufacturing, quality assurance, maintenance, regulations, finance, local human resources, environmental health and safety, aloe fields, and exports. Prior to Ashland, Daniel was the Plant Manager at PROCIMART from October 2008 to March 2019, where responsibilities included overseeing juice and dehydrated peel production, quality assurance, food safety systems, maintenance, hygiene, industrial safety, and logistics. Daniel's career also includes leadership roles at AXA and Acuity Brands, further enhancing expertise in operational management and team supervision. Daniel holds a Licentiate degree in Industrial Engineering from Technology Jobs Careers, obtained between 1993 and 1999.
