Ray Vermillion, P.E., is currently the Asset Integrity & Reliability Engineering Manager at Ashland, Inc. With over 30 years of experience in Corrosion Engineering, Mechanical Integrity, and Materials/Metallurgical Engineering, they have spent 20 years as a senior engineering resource. Ray's expertise includes solving corrosion and materials engineering problems, performing failure analyses, and managing personnel. They have held several significant positions, including Corrosion & Metallurgical Engineering Consultant, Reliability & Inspection Manager, and Corrosion & Metallurgical Engineering Management Unit Supervisor. Ray holds degrees in Materials Engineering, Economics, and Finance from San Jose State University, Oregon State University, and Penn State University, respectively.
