Dave Baker

Dave Baker is an experienced educator and IT professional with a strong background in teaching and program management at leading institutions. Currently, Dave serves as a Sessional Teacher at the University of Oxford, focusing on presentation design, academic poster creation, and programming concepts, while also volunteering at the Ashmolean Museum. Previously, Dave held several key roles at the University of Oxford, including Head of the IT Learning Centre and Teaching Team Manager, where responsibilities included leading IT skills enhancement initiatives and managing a comprehensive IT Learning Programme. Prior experience includes a teaching position at Abingdon and Witney College and specialized roles at AEA Technology and UKAEA, where project management and software development were significant components. Dave holds an MSc in Computing from the University of Liverpool, a PGCE from Oxford Brookes University, and a BSc(Hons) in Physics from the University of Bristol.
