Robert Small

Robert Small is a social farming artist and entrepreneur dedicated to promoting the micro and small farmer movement in South Africa and integrating biodynamic farming practices into family farming. They established the Farm and Garden National Trust in 2008 and currently provide various support services to community farmers, including training and funding facilitation. Previously, Robert served as the director at Abalimi Bezekhaya, where they expanded the organization into a national best practice NGO that supports thousands of township gardeners. Additionally, they have contributed to several agricultural projects and written educational materials that have had a significant impact in the field of urban agriculture. Robert holds a degree in Bio-Dynamic Agriculture and Rural Development from Emerson College in the UK.
