Blake Ellis is a seasoned manager with over three decades of experience in the architecture and engineering industry. Currently serving as the District Energy & Power Leader at Burns & McDonnell since 2003, Blake leads a team focused on energy solutions for campus environments. Blake previously worked at Ellerbe Becket as a Principal, where they contributed to significant projects including district cooling in downtown St. Paul and developments for various sports arenas. With a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Minnesota, Blake holds multiple professional credentials including being a registered engineer in fourteen states and the District of Columbia. Additionally, Blake is actively involved in ASHRAE, currently chairing the Center of Excellence for Building Decarbonization.
