Barry Ross has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Barry began their career in 1990 as a Hydrographic Survey Engineer at Seatronics Ltd. From 1997 to 2012, Barry worked at Grampian Police, initially as a Police Constable and later as a Detective Constable. Their responsibilities included strategic project management, data analysis, leadership, and collaboration with external partners. In 2012, they joined Remote Ocean Systems (ROS) as a Technical Sales Consultant, where they focused on building and maintaining customer relationships, generating new business opportunities, providing technical expertise, and promoting company products. Since 2013, Barry has been with Ashtead Technology, first as a Sales Engineer, then as a Sales Manager, and currently as the Operations Manager - Europe. In their various roles, they have demonstrated skills in sales, client management, team leadership, and product knowledge.
Barry Ross attended Robert Gordon's College from 1980 to 1986. Barry then pursued a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The Robert Gordon University, earning their degree between 1987 and 1990.
