Mark Smith

Mark Smith has a diverse work experience in the engineering industry. Mark most recently worked at Ashtead Technology as a Design Engineer starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Expro as a Mechanical Engineer from September 2019 to April 2023. Mark also has experience as a ROV Tooling Engineer at Ashtead Technology from September 2018 to September 2019. Before that, they worked as a Hydraulic Technician at Cutting Underwater Technologies Ltd from May 2017 to September 2018. In 2016, Mark worked as a Retrofit Engineer at Whirlpool Corporation. Mark started their career as a ROV Tooling Technician at Forum Energy Technologies in January 2014 and worked there until July 2016. Mark also has experience as a ROV Pilot Technician at Helix Energy Solutions Group from April 2013 to December 2013. Mark had two roles at Forum Energy Technologies, first as a ROV Integration Technician from February 2012 to April 2013, and later as a Mechanical Technician from November 2010 to February 2012.

Mark Smith attended North East Scotland College from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained an HNC degree in Mechanical Engineering. Mark later went back to the same college from 2017 to 2019, where they earned an HND degree in the same field of study.
