Robert Gillespie

Robert Gillespie has over 30 years of work experience in the oil and gas industry. Robert is currently the Commercial Director at Ashtead Technology since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Managing Director at Havfram from 2020 to 2022. From 2016 to 2020, Robert was the Managing Director at DOF Subsea, where they were responsible for P&L, business growth, and operational efficiencies. Before that, they served as the Commercial Director - Europe & Africa at McDermott International, Ltd from 2015 to 2016. Robert also held various roles at Technip Oceania Pty Ltd, Technip UK Ltd, and Fugro, where they gained experience in business development, project management, and commercial management. Robert has a track record of winning new business, developing key relationships, and achieving targets.

Robert Gillespie attended Robert Gordon University from 1987 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
