Ashton McGill is a collective of accountants and consultants who help ambitious organisations grow. We empower business owners to think differently, hit targets and set their businesses up to scale.

As accountants, tech lovers and educators, we’re passionate about helping people and we envision a different model for accountancy. One with a focus on compassion and empathy, where an accountant functions as a key member of a company’s team, guiding and supporting them.

We’ve designed an accounting service that is 100% growth-focused, set up to help businesses deal with important challenges and opportunities. With a tailored accounting setup and regular support, we arm our clients with the richness of information they need to drive growth, giving them clarity in the numbers and confidence for the way ahead.

Gone are the days when businesses only meet their accountants once a year. At Ashton McGill, we have an intimate relationship with the businesses we support, helping them understand how their business runs, how it makes a profit and how it will grow.

Regular catch-ups form a core part of our service offering, helping us better understand your business to provide maximum support and value:

• Quarterly meetings is our minimum engagement, designed for a small business that’s keen to get a handle on the numbers as it grows.
• Our monthly package is designed for a growing business, with a more intense need for conversation, helping you stay on top of the numbers and make informed decisions.
• There often comes a point in the growth journey where businesses need a finance director level of support, but aren’t ready to hire a full-time FD. We offer part-time finance director services to fill that gap and help you continue to build.

We offer management accounts either quarterly or monthly, to match the frequency of your review meetings. That way, our regular catchups are always backed by up-to-date financials, arming you with the insights you need to fuel growth.
