Jacques Dabreteau is a partner in the projects practice and heads our Paris office's public law practice.

Jacques advises private sponsors and lenders as well as the public sector on all aspects of public law, including litigation before administrative courts, with particular experience in public contracts (public procurements, concession agreements, PPP, etc) and major projects. He is also involved in acquisition transactions, privatisations and financings and advises on regulatory issues, especially in in energy, defence, information & communication technologies, public works, transportation, water and waste.

His clients include notable building companies, industrial groups, international computer companies and French major public entities.

Jacques is regularly involved on international infrastructure and energy projects, advising the sponsors or the lenders on regulatory issues and the drafting and negotiation of project and finance documentation.

Jacques also frequently presents on public law and public contracts at Sciences Po-Formation continue, EFE, Le Moniteur, etc. He also regularly publishes academic articles and case law comments in specialised administrative law reviews (AJDA, Compléments Services Publics, Contrats Publics, BJCP online, Les Echos online, etc.).
