Robert Boothe is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in public management and financial policy. Currently serving as a Principal Planning and Policy Economist at the Asian Development Bank since January 2017, Robert leads strategic initiatives in the Strategy, Policy and Partnerships Department. Previous roles include Senior Public Management Specialist and Public Sector Specialist at the World Bank, where Robert contributed to the design and execution of public governance programs across East Asia and the Pacific. Notable projects include technical leadership in revenue mobilization and public financial management in Myanmar, as well as capacity building initiatives throughout the region. Robert's educational background includes an MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics and a BComm in Business Economics and Law from the University of Alberta.
