Kevin Boyd

Kevin Boyd has worked in the software development and data analytics industries since 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Summer Intern (Data Analyst) at PayEazy, where they took large samples of data and looked for trends, developed formulas to sort and score the data, and tested formulas by creating new data and seeing if it fell where the predictive algorithms expected it to. In 2014, they worked as a Summer Intern (Android Developer) at PayEazy, where they helped develop a signature recognition Android App, tested it by iterating through multiple types of signatures, and analyzed data from tests in order to improve the App's accuracy. In 2015, they worked as a Summer Intern (iOS Developer) at Asignio, where they worked with developers to transfer Android code over to iOS platform, tested iOS code in order to find ways to improve it, and created a suite of tests to be used to evaluate any new additions to the App. From 2016 onward, they have worked at Asignio as a Development Lead, Signature Algorithm Developer, and Software Developer. As a Signature Algorithm Developer, they helped develop Asignio's Signature Recognition technology by designing, testing and verifying new algorithms, and wrote code to both develop the algorithms and test them against a suite of data to verify their integrity and usefulness. As a Software Developer, they worked on both front-end (Javascript, JQuery, CSHTML) and back-end (C#, MySQL) code to help develop Web Applications, and saw through the development of applications from the design phase all the way through implementation on a production level.

Kevin Boyd attended New Providence High School from 2008 to 2012. Kevin then went on to the University of Notre Dame where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from 2012 to 2016.
