Taylor Ticer is currently the Leader of the PathForward for Undergraduates Mentorship Program at the American Society for Investigative Pathology, a role that began in February 2023 and focuses on connecting undergraduate students with graduate student or post-doctoral mentors. Taylor has been a PhD student at the Medical University of South Carolina since August 2018, following a research internship in Dr. Joy Wolfram's lab at the Mayo Clinic from September 2017 to July 2018. Prior experience includes serving as a Team Leader at the Chick-fil-A franchise at the University of North Florida from August 2013 to July 2018, overseeing cash transactions and providing customer service, as well as acting as a Supplemental Instruction Leader for a Genetics class at the University of North Florida from August 2016 to April 2018. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Florida, attained in 2017.
