Frank Carpency

Frank Carpency, PE, CPP, PSP, CSC, currently serves as a Senior Associate at Thornton Tomasetti since October 2023 and has been a member of the ASIS International SAEC Council since January 1980. With extensive experience in physical security consulting and engineering, Frank previously held the position of Senior Security Engineer at Versar Security Systems from September 2016 to November 2023, specializing in critical infrastructure projects across various sectors. Earlier roles include Principal and Chief Engineer at Carpency and Associates, LLC, Systems Engineering Leader at Johnson Controls Security Systems, LLC, and Vice President/Chief Engineer at Professional Systems Engineering, LLC. Frank's career also includes leadership positions at CETROM, Inc., PSC, Inc., and NUS Corporation. Frank holds an Associate degree in Electrical and Electronics Technology from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from LaSalle University.
