Ron Lander

Ron Lander is a highly experienced security professional with a robust background spanning over four decades. Currently serving on the Government Committee of the California Alarm Association since July 2014, Lander actively engages in national legislative and policy matters. As Council Vice President at ASIS International since January 2011, Lander oversees five Councils of Subject Matter Experts, focusing on areas such as Information Technology and Healthcare Security. In the role of Chief Technology Officer at Security Management Services International, Inc. since 2003, Lander evaluates physical security operations for clients with customized analyses. Additionally, as CEO of Ultrasafe Security since September 1989, Lander leads a comprehensive security service organization. Formerly, Lander served as a Sergeant with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, supervising personnel and acting as a departmental expert on Juvenile Justice. Educational credentials include an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Mt. San Antonio College and attendance at California State University, Los Angeles.
