Jolene Smith has worked in various managerial roles since 2007. Jolene began their career at Starbucks as a Manager, where they managed million dollar stores and received recognition from management for superior P&L management and flow through. In 2016, they moved to DaBella as the Sales & Marketing Director, where they partnered with the CMO to support a multimillion-dollar rebranding initiative and developed comprehensive new-hire and leadership training programs. In 2020, they returned to Starbucks as a Manager Trainer, where they transformed operations and culture by fostering an environment of growth and inclusion, and partnered with the DM to introduce the NEXT program. Most recently, in 2021, they joined DoorDash as the Manager of New Business Verticals - Dash Mart. In 2022, they will be the People Operations Manager at AskNicely.

Jolene Smith holds a Bachelor's degree from San Jose State University, where they studied Design Arts: Graphic Design from 2001 to 2010. Jolene also has three certifications from Management Solutions International (MSI): Certified Management Executive (CME), Project Management - Lean Process, and Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB), all obtained in August 2021. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's in Communication Online at Arizona State University, which they began in 2021.
