Orhan Aydin

General President at ASKON

Orhan AYDIN, who was born in Ankara, is originally from the Akincilar district of Sivas. Having received his secondary education at Eyüp Imam Hatip High School, AYDIN ​​completed his undergraduate education at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics. Having received an MBA program in Canada, AYDIN ​​completed his Master's Degree in Economics at Istanbul University and received the title of HIGHER ECONOMIST. Orhan AYDIN ​​continues his academic studies with his PhD in Economics at Istanbul University.

Orhan AYDIN, who is active in business life besides his academic career, is the founder and manager of OMA IPLIK A.Ş. With its yarn production facilities, it added the OMAFIL brand, which steers the sector, to the country's values.

Orhan AYDIN, who served as the Vice Chairman of the New Investments Commission as a member of the board of directors in ASKON between 2014-2017 and as the Secretary General of the Institution in 2016-2017, was elected as the Vice President of Corporate Relations after the ASKON General Assembly held in 2017.

Orhan AYDIN ​​continues his duties as a Member of the Board of Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters' Association and the Supervisory Board of the Turkish Exporters Assembly.

Orhan AYDIN, who was elected as the General President of ASKON after the 11th Ordinary General Assembly of ASKON, was also elected to the Chairmanship in the 12th Ordinary General Assembly and continues his duty successfully.
