Liam Thornton

Liam Thornton has extensive experience in strategy and development roles within the entertainment and real estate investment industries. Liam is currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Strategy and Development at ASM Global - Official, a position they have held since October 2022.

Prior to this, Liam worked at Live Nation Entertainment as the Executive Vice President of Development from June 2017 to September 2022. Liam also held the role of Managing Director at Thinkwell Development from 2009 to 2011.

Liam's earlier work experience includes positions at House of Blues, where they served as the Senior Vice President of Development from March 2000 to February 2007, and Universal Studios, where they held the role of VP & Executive Director of New Business Development from 1997 to 2000.

Before that, Liam was a Development Executive at The Walt Disney Company from 1992 to 1997.

Additionally, Liam has served as an Investor and a Board of Advisor at Urban Asset Advisors since July 2014. Prior to that, they worked as the Principal at Trinity 3 Investment, a real estate investment firm, from August 2011 onwards.

Liam Thornton completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Santa Clara University, between the years 1979 and 1983. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree from the School of Architecture and Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, graduating in 1992.
