Alison H. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alison started their career in 1988 as a Sales and Marketing Manager for The Oberoi Group, where they successfully contributed to the company's marketing efforts in North America. Following this, they founded their own company, Alison Holmes Marketing and Communications, where they managed a portfolio of international clients and directed their marketing and PR activities in the GCC region.

In 2010, Alison transitioned to self-employment, working as a freelance consultant in France. During this time, they organized and managed a charity event for a private investor, which involved the participation of US celebrities and fundraisers. From 2015, Alison worked as the Editor-in-Chief for the Travel Division at ASMALLWORLD, a role that enhanced their editorial and leadership skills.

In 2018, they joined Lifestyle Publications as an Editor, contributing their expertise in content creation and editing. Throughout their career, Alison has consistently demonstrated their skills in marketing, communication, PR, and event management. Alison'sexperiences have provided their with a well-rounded skill set and the ability to adapt to various industries and challenges.

Alison H. completed their high school education at Marymount International School in London, UK, from 1980 to 1982, earning a High School Diploma. Prior to this, they attended Ecole Internationale de Geneve in Suisse from 1970 to 1980, achieving schooling up until the 9th grade. Alison went on to pursue higher education at Boston University COM, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication from 1982 to 1986. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained certifications including a CETFLA (Certificate to teach English as a Foreign Language to Adults) and a Sommelier certificate from the United States Sommelier Assoc., Inc.
