Christopher Cantrell has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Christopher is currently serving as the Senior Managing Director of Standards and Engineering Services at ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers). Prior to this, they worked for the State of Nebraska, where they held positions such as Nebraska State Fire Marshal and Chief Boiler Inspector. Christopher also served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors. Christopher has experience in safety and inspection, having worked at the Nebraska Department of Labor and HSB Global Standards. Their career began in the United States Navy, where they served as a Machinist's Mate aboard nuclear powered warships.
Christopher Cantrell received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in University Studies from Texas Tech University in the period of 2010-2013. Prior to that, they pursued an education in Nuclear Power at the U.S. Naval Nuclear Power Pipeline from 1992-1994. In addition, they hold various certifications such as the Governor's Executive Certificate in Leadership from Nebraska College of Business in 2019 and a National Board Commission from The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors in 1998, among others.
