Clare Bruff

Clare Bruff is an experienced leader in volunteer engagement and diversity, currently serving as the Director of Volunteer Engagement and Diversity at the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) since September 2013. With a background that includes roles such as Senior Manager for both Volunteer Leadership Development and Executive Operations at ASME, Clare has overseen the training and development of over 10,000 volunteers globally while also spearheading diversity initiatives within the organization. Previous experience includes serving as President of the New York Association for Volunteer Administration and holding various positions at the American Lung Association, where Clare managed performance and strategic alignment for chartered associations. Clare's educational background includes a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Arts in Africana Studies and English from Rutgers University.
