Eric Perez

Eric Perez is an aerospace engineering student at the University of Miami, where they maintain a GPA of 3.5 while pursuing a Bachelor of Science. Currently serving as a Student Research Assistant, they are involved in designing and building a Lobster Eye X-Ray Telescope for capture of x-rays in space. Eric has also held the position of Lead Engineer at ASME since 2024 and briefly worked as an Aerospace Engineer in the NASA L'SPACE Program earlier this year. Their passion for space exploration focuses on spacecraft design, robotics, and reusability efforts such as lunar exploration and space debris mitigation.
